The teaching and integrated therapy at Rosemary International Academy focuses on supporting the challenges faced by students with Special Educational Needs, such as working memory, processing speed, executive functioning, sensory processing, social communication needs, as well as the impact these may have on a student’s confidence and self-esteem.
APPROACH TO TEACHING
Subject teachers regularly arrange extra tutorials, especially in the weeks before examinations. These are scheduled in your child’s break times, by mutual agreement.
Your child can also have one-on-one tutorials, or extra work may be given in order to help overcome any weaknesses in a subject.
Your child will be allocated a tutor at the start of the year. This will usually be one of your child’s teachers, who will mentor and support your child during their studies.
